Optimizing the art of balance between our life's activities

Candelabra Coaching

Welcome

A candelabra enables multiple candles to flame, rich with energy of light and movement.  So too should we support the various energies and foci of our life's activities.

Our equilibrium, however, can become chronically disrupted, and we can lose the energy needed to light up all of our power and potential.

The mission of Candelabra Coaching is to support the balance of the activities we do in our lives.  Coach and client work together to create positive momentum through clear strategies for action.

Coaching is a collaborative process, rather than an instructional one.  The result is that you are the author of your success, while the coach serves as a support and accountability partner, sharing in the process of evaluating strategies that serve as catalysts for change.

Benefits of Coaching

Identifying Goals

Through the coach certification training,

I have learned communication and listening skills to support and collaborate with clients as they identify goals, helping them to become unstuck from personal or professional issues that limit productivity and peace of mind.

Creating Life Balance Strategies

A trained coach additionally uses their educational and vocational background as well as their unique life experiences to bring additional perspectives to the collaborative process of initiating productive strategies for the client to pursue.

Having an Accountability Partner

Through coaching, clients may develop more confidence, improve decision-making abilities, increase their clarity regarding personal and professional paths, and take actions toward their objectives.  I serve as a collaborator and accountability partner in their process.

The Process

The first step in the process is a free, 30-minute consultation in which we will discover whether coaching is a good fit for you.  Scroll to the bottom to fill out the consultation form.

From there, sessions are scheduled at a frequency and quantity agreed upon by client and coach.  Current pricing and scheduling options will be sent to the client before the free consultation.

About Molly

I have spent over thirty years on the operatic and concert stage, and over twenty years as a professor of voice. Since 2017, I have been the Chair of Vocal Studies at the nation's largest public music secondary institution, the University of North Texas College of Music.  I am also a certified mentor coach.

Balancing is a skill that I have developed over the years. As an example, I achieved tenure and promotion as a faculty member at Michigan State University in the same time period that I made my debut as a soloist at The Metropolitan Opera.  Since that time, my professional work has expanded to include curation of multi-media programs and recordings while being promoted to an administrative position with the university setting.

The athlete Michael Jordan said, “I have failed many times, and that is why I succeed.” This quote is among my favorites, as I own the mistakes I have made along the way and know that my most difficult challenges ultimately brought me insights to make me equipped to more smoothly negotiate the next obstacle.

I have had multi-year professional contracts in the United States and in Europe, and my job experience encompasses both the unpredictable world of a free-lancer in the performing arts and a teacher and administrator within the traditional pillars of academic institutions.  Having done all of this while managing personal relationships and those things which round out our humanness, I feel that I have a well-rounded breadth of life experience to bring to my training as a CTA-certified coach.
